Carson Ellis

I came across Carson Ellis' whimsical and folklore inspired illustrations today and was absolutely floored. Check out the rest of her stunning work at www.carsonellis.com. Or at her new exhibition at the Nationale "Mush, Mush, the Sloping Midnight Line"

Feathers and Boards

Yes. This is definitely going to happen. After becoming increasingly obsessed over the Ballerina Project photos, I've decided I need to do something active.
The gymnast in my says aerial hoops are the way to go!

ADVENTURE!

Hmmmm… starting to get that sensation in my core again like I just want to escape right out of my skin. Which for me usually means, I need a new activity, hobby. This lady needs a CHALLENGE.

Hmmmm… I should be careful with what I’m asking the universe. I might just get a bit ‘ol challenge. How about an ADVENTURE instead!

Every year I’m finding I’m getting closer and closer to this.

What a simple message. Check out the Heartfish Press on Etsy for more lovely letterpress prints.

Just Move...

I was absolutely STUNNED to come across the Ballerina Project. These images make me want to embrace my inner dancer and move around. What a celebration of the human body in dance. Notice the TTC in these pics? Gorgeous.

All photos are from the Ballerina Project Facebook page HERE. You can also order prints from their website HERE.  Yes this is definitely on my Christmas  wish list.

Beautiful and Dystopian

Paintings by Alex Andreyev. He is an artist and graphic designer living in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. His works are created in Photoshop, but only using brushes. No filters and no  effects. Well his art certainly has had an effect on me.
